Groups
Groups are where we share life together, encouraging and supporting each other. While most of our groups happen Sunday morning during After Half, we also offer a few special groups over the course of the year that will meet at different times!
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Colossians 3:16

Life Groups
These life groups each have a different focus as we share life together and offer encouragement to one another.

Middle and High School students have the opportunity to gather every other Sunday evening for Youth Group. This is a safe place where students can experience what it means to reflect Christ by passionately following him, and they can ask questions about faith and find truth.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 6:30-8:00 pm! 5th Sundays are special activities/outings!

Each week, we gather to pray over the specific needs of the church, revitalization of our church, and for our Sterling/Rock Falls community. We meet each Thursday at 10:00 am in the chapel.

Soul Sisters is our group especially designed for all widows. This group is designed to be a safe place for women to support and encourage each other in both their shared and unique experiences of widowhood. It meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Bring a drink and find peace and hope in the companionship.
Next Meeting: Tuesday, April 15, 10:00 am

If you are looking for a way to prepare your heart for this spring’s remembrance of the Crucifixion and Resurrection, consider joining a Bible study, based on the scripture passages that provide the words of George Friedrich Handel’s Messiah. On Wednesdays at 4:00 in the Chapel, beginning on March 19, Pastor Jane will lead an 8-week exploration of “some of the key passages in the Old Testament about the Messiah and their completion in the life and saving work of Jesus.” There is a study book available for $8 for those who would like to extend the study into their weekly devotions. A signup sheet is in the foyer, or you can email Pastor Jane.
First Meeting: Wednesday, March 19, 4-5pm
